Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
pocketmix (pocketmix.app) runs this site. For any privacy question or request, write to larry@makersside.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and login details, handled by our sign-in provider, Supabase.
- Membership data: your plan, its status and renewal dates. Paddle sends us these after you buy, cancel or renew. We do not receive your card or payment details.
- Usage data: basic information such as which lessons you open and your progress, plus your language choice and similar settings saved in your browser.
- Audio files you analyze: processed in your browser; see section 3.
- Waitlist and messages: your email if you join a waitlist or write to us.
3. Your audio files
Audio you drop into the mix analyzer is processed to produce your analysis. Today the analysis runs in your browser: the file stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. We use your audio only for that feature. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models. If a feature ever needs to upload or store a file, we will say so where you use it and update this policy first.
4. Why we use your data
- to run your account and give you access to what you paid for;
- to run the lessons and the analyzer;
- to send service messages, such as sign-in and billing emails, and waitlist notices you asked for;
- to keep the site secure and fix problems.
5. We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
6. Who handles data for us
We use a few providers to run the service:
- Paddle (Merchant of Record): payments, taxes, receipts and refunds. Paddle is an independent controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase: accounts and the database.
- Our hosting and network provider: delivering the website.
They may process data outside your country. We share only what each one needs.
7. How long we keep it
Account and membership data is kept while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records held by Paddle.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to larry@makersside.com and we will reply.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use browser storage for sign-in, language and lesson progress. Paddle's checkout may set its own cookies when you pay. We do not use advertising cookies.
10. Children
pocketmix is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and its date.
